Wasp and Bee Removal in Lebanon

Hornet and wasp nests removed, honeybee swarms moved to a beekeeper

Wasps, Hornets and Bees in Lebanese Buildings

A hornet nest is rarely visible. What shows is the traffic at a crack in the render, and whether it returns depends on the opening being closed.

Vespa orientalis, the Oriental hornet, is confirmed in Lebanon across four governorates. The nests sit in wall cavities behind cracked render, in shutter boxes and in parapets.

Work is done at dusk or early morning with the foragers inside: treatment at the entrance, the comb out where access allows, then the cavity sealed. A honeybee swarm goes to a beekeeper instead.

The Ministry of Public Health has banned aluminium and zinc phosphide in residential areas, so no agricultural product is used in a flat. Call +961 3 265900.
