A 2022 study in Scientific Reports found 58.3 percent of Lebanese house mice carrying Vkorc1 resistance-linked mutations, the gene anticoagulant rodenticides act on. They feed, walk away and keep breeding, which is why shop-bought bait so often does nothing.
